Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I purchased a couple of external drive cases. You take your IDE hard drive, plug it in, close the box, and plug it into a USB port.


Granted, you'll have to locate it and put it in fstab, but it's not rocket science.

You can do this for quite a lot of drives if you like. Since drives are coming down like mad, it's a great deal.
