Re: [PLUG] FS: 20" monitor

In the message dated: Tue, 19 Jun 2007 11:32:16 EDT,
The pithy ruminations from "Joseph Sands" on
<RE: [PLUG] FS: 20" monitor> were:
=> $300 = I would like to get $300 for this item.
=> Or best offer = but I recognize that you may not be willing to pay that
=> much so I'm willing to accept a reasonable offer near my asking price.
=>
=> At least this is my interpretation.

I'd agree.

IMHO, a "reasonable offer" for a very heavy hunk of glass that uses a lot of
electricity, heats up the room, and takes up vast desk real estate, while
producing a nice picture, is in the $20~$40 range. The difference between that
"value" and the asking price is so great that it may be seen as insulting,
meaning that people may not make an offer at all.

FYI, it costs about $20 to legally dispose of such a monitor these days.
