Thanks for the information.  I have not used the distribulator but I'll
check it out!

I have also used synergy and it worked great for me!  It replaced a
closed source
pay-for program (MaxiVista).  MaxiVista is not quite the same because it
is a
Windows only program that allows one Windows computer to act as an extended
display for another.  I ended  up switching entirely to synergy because
it worked
equally well in Windows and Linux which was a total winner for me.
