It will be easier to compare only the distributions one wants to compare, and it will allow someone to do so with more features in which to evaluate. Currently, with wikipedia's structure there is no way to view only the ones you want to compare and leave the rest. Additionally, wikipedia's list does not inform about more advanced things such as each distro's init structure, available versions of standard system tools such as iptables, where binaries are installed by the package manager or the version of the default desktop environment. There would be a section dealing only with live distributions. Wikipedia's live Linux CD content is trivial at best: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Linux_LiveDistros -James ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
