I bought a computer recently
/proc/cpuinfo says I have an
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
cpu MHz : 1000.000
However the processor is supposed to run at 3GHZ. am I being ripped
off? heard stories about fake processors have bios changed to make it
look like the real thing.
is there a linux utility that will allow me to test the processor?
