No, config file lives here: /config/active.
That said, you don't want to mess with it. That's what Voyager (the
web interface) is for. Really.

Route/netstat are both there, but again, use Voyager. Or if it's a
newer box, and you're simply dying to use the command line, use clish.

If you mail me privately, I'd be glad to tell you a few things about
it. I spent 7 years working at Nokia (until 3/2007), in the security
product group, so I haven't managed to forget everything yet... What
model do you have? What IPSO release (uname -a)? What Check Point
release (fw ver)?
