[PLUG] Alms for the Poor

So a while back I bought parts for a server, but didn't actually get around to
building it for quite some time... After assembling it, I notice that
there's something clearly wrong with the hardware, as it doesn't appear even
to reach the BIOS. After removing almost everything save the CPU and power
supply, I've figured it's either the CPU or the motherboard. I don't
actually know, though, and everything is well out of warranty. I need to
replace one of them, but I'm not sure which one, and I really don't want to
have to buy both if I can help it.

So my plea: Does anyone have (or know someone who has) a socket-F Opteron
that they would be willing to lend me to help me troubleshoot this? It would
really help me no end.

%!PS: In case you aren't sure whether you're comfortable lending someone an
expensive CPU, please see the attached picture.
