if you consider driving a skill, then you've
got to go with a manual transmission

i take a 1966 Porsche 912 to SCCA and Porsche club
AutoXs and track days.  nobody brings automatics.
half the fun is getting the shifts right.


if you consider driving a chore, like vacuuming a rug,
then an automatic should be considered
