Similar to that, it just plugs into the end of an atx power supply and tells you whether or not it's good. It may load the supply too. It's basically an idiot light that tells you the power supply is ok. Saves you trouble of breaking out the old vom, shorting 2 leads and then checking each pin.

the two i've used are small aluminum-encased rectangles, about 2x3x0.5 inches. they've got a molex connector and a molex fan connector on one side, and the slot for the main board power's jack on the other side. tells you which current lines are good so you know if it's a bad molex, bad fan line, or if you're boned and it's the main umbilical.
