the two i've used are small aluminum-encased rectangles, about 2x3x0.5 inches. they've got a molex connector and a molex fan connector on one side, and the slot for the main board power's jack on the other side. tells you which current lines are good so you know if it's a bad molex, bad fan line, or if you're boned and it's the main umbilical.
