[PLUG] Survey: who drives a stick shift?

I do. Also, I remember when we first arrived to the US. We moved to NJ and
our first car had a manual trans; my wife did not know how to drive a manual
but I persuaded her that she would learn quickly. Her greatest challenge
came when, while learning, I asked her to stop the car as we went up a steep
hill and pull out without using the emergency break and without allowing the
car to go back not even an inch. After about five attempts she performed
perfectly and to this day is happy and greatfull to have learned. Her most
recent `adventure` was driving our manual pickup loaded.
