I cleared the apt-proxy, and tried again with the same results. It turns out this package is coming from http://ppa.launchpad.net which was present in sources.list from the start of the clean install I did of the beta Gutsy. I have no idea what it is, and haven't proxied it... ----- Trimmed session ----- $ sudo aptitude install ubuntu-mythtv-frontend The following packages will be upgraded: ubuntu-mythtv-frontend Get:1 http://ppa.launchpad.net gutsy/multiverse ubuntu-mythtv-frontend 0.20.2+fixes14703-0ubuntu0~mythbuntu1 [180kB] Fetched 180kB in 0s (239kB/s) (Reading database ... 59833 files and directories currently installed.) Innate design flaws of Windows make a personal firewall, anti-virus and anti-malware software mandatory. The resulting software arms race has effectively flattened Moore's Law on hardware running Windows. ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
