There's also a really handy command in your mail reader of choice called
"delete" which is (wait for it) able to delete messages you are not
interested in or find objectionable in some way.
The combination of these two aspects of email can be surprisingly
powerful and effective, as I have just conclusively *not* shown here. ;-).
