Share knowledge with colleagues. > Provides technical Support for the Contact Center, written and internet-based inquiries of their Customers and partners, regarding company products. Analyzes problems with nonfunctioning software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action. Recommends solutions to customer technical questions. Maintains log of problems and analysis steps including creation and review of reusable solutions, which are posted to their website for global reuse by customers and partners, and so that recurring problems can be reported to product development. > > Duties > - Daily, weekly, and monthly database administration on Linux servers. Set up Linux/Unix environment for new customers. > - Assist in training and knowledge exchange. > - Receives incoming software issues from their customers and partners to provide top-notch customer service utilizing their Customer Support tool sets > - Formulates reusable solutions to new, unique issues, or enhances existing solutions following solution-centered Support methodologies, which are posted to their website. > - Analyzes, tests, solves routine problems, advising customers of potential solutions and how to implement them as well as escalating issues appropriately. > - Documents, in detail, all analyses and correspondences throughout the issue resolution process; provides pro-active status updates to customers > - Assists team members (locally, globally and across teams). > > Scope and Complexity > -Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. > -Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
