I found reference here:

...that says that revision 1604 of the GA-M61P-S3 BIOS has the hidden
virtualization setting "unhidden".  No luck on the other board. The same
thread mentions one person who patched the BIOS to re-enable the hidden
setting, but no detail is provided.
