[PLUG] "unerase" for linux ext3?

I have a program that zero'ed out a file with some important data.
The file itself is still here but of zero byte length.

Any way to recover that?

Interestingly, a google search for "file recovery ext3" turns up a lot of
pay-for programs that rely on a MS Windows host!?

I have an old backup from November but that's not ideal.
