Re: [PLUG] Hacking the eeePC

I'm new around here, but I do plan on buying a 900 when it is available in the US and would like to use something like eeeXubuntu for Hardy.  Plan to boot XP off a SDHC when I have to work with apps that won't work under wine.  Also might do some hardware mods...  I'd be very interested in a presentation on the eeePC.

i can't recall if there's been a presentation on the eeePC and
installing non-standard distro's on it (NOT a fan of xandros), and
tweaks needing to be made to improve smoothness/stability, etc...

if there's interest, i can probably put one together.

if anyone in PLUG has an eeepc, i'd love to hear from you. i love mine,
and it's the second one i've hacked around with.

any input?
