Thanks to Kyle for a very densely informative introduction to Lisp. :-) Of particular note was the "Lisp in a Box" at http://gigamonkeys.com/lispbox/ and the book (free HTML online or treeware) at http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/. I also found running the following command on Debian or Ubuntu rather interesting: $ apt-cache search lisp | egrep '^cl-|^clisp|^cltl|^onlisp|^sbcl' \ | sort | less --quit-if-one-screen Not to mention what you get from $ apt-cache search scheme Later, JP ----------------------------|:::======|------------------------------- JP Vossen, CISSP |:::======| jp{at}jpsdomain{dot}org My Account, My Opinions |=========| http://www.jpsdomain.org/ ----------------------------|=========|------------------------------- "Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law. ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
