It's been awhile for me and Redhat but how did you configure your partitions. How big is /boot, and is there a /boot? If I'm not mistaken /boot needs to be around 100mb or in the first 1024 cylinders. They may have changed that as like I said it's been a while for me and Redhat. Opensuse & Suse you don't have that issue. I would love to come over an play but I have a day job; sorry. You mite also want to call Adaptec Tech Support. I remember their support not being all that horrible with the exception of extremely long hold times and you having to need that very annoying TSID when you call. -------------------------------------------------- Brian Vagnoni PGP Digital Fingerprint F076 6EEE 06E5 BEEF EBBD BD36 F29E 850D FC32 3955 -------------------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian Vagnoni [mailto:bvagnoni@v-system.net] To: Philadelphia Linux User's Group Discussion List [mailto:plug@lists.phillylinux.org] Sent: Sun, 29 Jun 2008 23:01:37 -0400 Subject: Re: [PLUG] Adaptec 3805 w/ CentOS > Controller BIOS up to date, mobo BIOS(unless EFI) up to date?
