Think i figured out part of the issue.
Floppy I am using is just bugging out.

back to the drawing board - need to get a usb floppy


hmmm

Mac works well - just need to actually figure the thing out ;-)
Hooking up to the Cisco switches w/o serial has been painful  
experience - however
and all the usb serial ports we have - no go...
have to buy new there


overall - its a better machine by far however - even w/ my learning  
curve.
