[PLUG] MythTV over broadband WAN?

Has anyone ever tried running MythTV over broadband (i.e. via forwarded
SSH ports)? The place we're going on vacation in a few weeks has some
kind of broadband, so I was wondering if this would work. I suspect
not, since IIRC MythTV over 40-50M Wireless is iffy, so over 3-5-8M(?)
broadband wouldn't work at all. But I figured I'd ask just in case...

Thanks,
JP

"Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on
software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and
implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law.
