Re: [PLUG] Hot Wireless News; Atheros Releases Free Linux Driver For Its 802.11n Devices

I used to use a D-Link DWL-G650 (http://support.dlink.com/products/revision.asp?productid=DWL-G650) and it worked with at least WPA1 (my network supports both WPA1 and WPA2) in Ubuntu Gusty (No extra config required, just worked). I don't remember what hardware version number it was, but I can ask the person I gave it to if she will check, if you want me to.

Hope this helps.

Does anyone know of a PCMCIA card that works with WPA(1/2) on Linux. I
have tried three or four different cards, and no dice when it comes to WPA.
