On Friday (Aug 29) the R2 does make some of its trips all the way to
Newark. The train station a bit south of the town center and the
University, a decent walk, I think about a mile.
Otherwise, the train either stops in Wilmington and you have to connect
to the Route 6 DART bus or in West Chester and I don't know how you
have to make the connections there. On Saturday there are no Newark
runs and on Sunday no Wilmington runs either.
