I've been waiting for at least six months for the perfect netbook. I think I've found everything that I want in the AAO. The new six cell battery models are sold out from every vendor. CDW is supposed to be getting a shipment of white units today. I really wanted to get the Onyx Black but they don't expect to have them until end of October or November. I've ruled the various Asus EEEs, MSI Wind, and Dell Mini for having small and/or nonstandard keyboard layouts. The HP Mininote is too slow and expensive. I'm ashamed to say it but I will be purchasing the Windows XP version. Acer really blew it with the configurations that they offer. The Linux version is $350 and comes with an 8 gig SSD and 512 megs of RAM. The $399 Windows XP version comes with a 160 gig HD and 1 gig of memory. I really wish that they offered the same configuration as the XP model minus the M$ tax. Does anyone own a One or have any feedback?
