Was it much different with a tethered phone than a card designed for the purpose? I have an "unlimited" data plan which I barely use (weather in the AM mostly it). The plan is shared by 3 household phones. I could add a 4th _phone_ fo about $10/mo., but Sprint wants to charge for a card as a separate $50 or $60 monthly account. So, I'd prefer to get it working with a phone. > > On Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 10:18 AM, Michael Schultheiss > > <schultmc@cinlug.org> wrote: > > Art Alexion wrote: > >> I'd like to use my Sprint Centro (evdo) as a modem for those times I'm > >> not near WiFi.
