I'm trying to install centos 5.2 onto a dell poweredge 6450 with perc2/dc. I've updated all firmware. This machine previously ran redhat 9 without any issues. So I go through the install process and shortly after it loads the adaptec 7xxx driver and the megaraid driver the system asks to check the media, then what keyboard I have then what timezone I'm in then it crashes with the error: /usr/sbin/load_policy : error while loading shared libraries : /lib/libselinux.so.1 invalid ELF header Question 1: Is there a way to install Centos from a command line without selinux? Question 2: Is this a problem with the megaraid driver or lack thereof? The below article talks about the legacy raid driver and the problem with perc 2's. If I read this correctly are they wanting me to rebuild the driver every time I upgrade the kernel? http://www.tuxyturvy.com/blog/index.php?/archives/4-Installing-RHEL4-on-Systems-with-Legacy-Megaraid-Drivers.html Question 3: Anybody got a perc 3 sitting around that they don't need?? -- Sean C.
