[PLUG] debugging firefox extensions

Firefox is doing a lot of disk thrashing lately that is preventing it
form doing anything else.  Mostly it does it when I first start the
program.  I suspect that it is an extension causing the problem.

Short of disabling each extension, one at a time, is there a way to
trace the problem to a particular extension, or to the program itself?
