Re: [PLUG] upgrade problem with Fedora 10

Hello,

I have a dual boot system (XP and Fedora Core 2.4).  I want to upgrade to Fedora 10 (downloaded ISO image and cut DVD on another computer).  I can't do the upgrade because the Anaconda installer seems to install the wrong video driver (this computer is at least 5 years old) and I can't interact with the graphical install.  I can boot up with Fedora 2.4 and get to the Gnome interface just fine.

So my question is:  How to I upgrade to Fedora 10?   I'm thinking:
1) since the right video driver is already on the system, all I have to do is get to the text install for Fedora 10.  But how?
2) buy an new video adapter and hope that Fedora 10 recognizes it correctly.

Thanks
Bob

I wonder... if you could install yum (i not already on the system) and change your repositories to the Fedora 10 locations?
