I want to upgrade to Fedora 10 (downloaded ISO image and cut DVD on another computer). I can't do the upgrade because the Anaconda installer seems to install the wrong video driver (this computer is at least 5 years old) and I can't interact with the graphical install. I can boot up with Fedora 2.4 and get to the Gnome interface just fine. > > So my question is: How to I upgrade to Fedora 10? Boot the F10 install DVD, and when the menu comes up, put the cursor on "Install", and hit tab to edit the boot options. Add "text" to the boot options, and hit enter. That's it - the installer will come up without X.
