Linux laptops were discussed a couple of years ago, and I explained there why I would (could) not buy a Dell Linux laptop. Check the archives. I have had good success with laptops from System 76 (system76.com), having bought 4 over the years at work and at home. They come with Ubuntu pre-loaded and have responsive support. I would buy from them again. -- Bhaskar On Mon, Jan 26, 2009 at 10:35 AM, jeff <jeffv@op.net> wrote: > Russ Wenner wrote: >> I am looking for recommendations for a laptop computer running Linux >> for some heavy lifting (running VM's, etc).
