Re: [PLUG] [semi-ot-hardware] compaq power brick

Art:

I don't know if my 2 Compaq adapter(s) match what you need(1).

In my experience with Compaq laptops the problem is most likely either in the
laptop's power receptacle or a broken wire in the cord. When you insert the
connector into the laptop does it seem "loose" at all? Can you slowly push it
left|right|up|down and make the charging light go 'on'? Also, try slowly moving
the cord around - particularly near the ends.

I also have a multi-meter you can borrow for testing if you need.

Compaq series: PPP014L - no "model number" shown.
Compaq model ADP-60DB (with aforementioned broken wire in cord)
works occasionally if it's in the correct position :-(
