I've been very interested, but am holding off on getting one until the ARM-based netbooks come out, hopefully within the next 6 months or so. The most obvious downside, inability to run Windows, is something I can deal with if it means I can get 10+ hours of operation on a charge. An OS based on Debian's ARM release would be nice, if the hardware is supported. They are also supposed to be cheap, light and cool-running. We'll see.
