This month, PLUG West welcomes back Walt Mankowski, who will
be presenting a talk entitled "SQL and Perl: Functions,
Aggregators and Collations." The meeting will be held on Monday,
August 17, starting at 7:00 pm. See below for directions to
	our Malvern meeting location.

SQLite is the most widely deployed SQL database engine in the
world. It's used throughout OS X as well as in Firefox, Google's
Android, and in countless other applications. SQLite is extremely
fast and lightweight, but it's lacking some features found in
larger database systems. Fortunately SQLite can be easily extended
with Perl. In this talk you'll learn how to write your own SQLite
functions, aggregators and collators in Perl.
