Rackspace.com is the worst place to do small colo or VPS. There biggest advantage is their name. Pricing is way too high, and service sucks.

I worked closely with Rackspace for the six years while employed at Digital Wave and never once had an issue with them that they didn't immediately bring to a fair resolution. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure doing business with them and that I would recommend them to anyone that is willing to spend the extra money. I can also remember one time their data center went off line unexpectedly in that six year period. They handled the situation professionally. I would say that's great service.
