That got it. I knew it had to be something stupid. I was convinced the
client could not see the full path on the server, only the share name. That
was all that windows could see under file manager.

You need to give the full path on the server. Try a

mount 10.0.0.7:/var/lib/mythtv/videos /var/lib/mythtv/videos

And you should be all set.
