I suggest trying again. Usually AD setups are configured to reset a rogue profile login (in this case, the in-house domain controller never heard a goodbye from your login) after x amount of time. If you're still locked out, you may have to talk to the admin, but there's a chance things will be hunky-dory soon enough.

This is almost certainly the problem. If a script went haywire and you had to do a hard reboot, the domain controller didn't receive a proper logoff. Does your admin allow simultaneous logins from multiple terminals? If not, that's your problem. If it does, and you're still having trouble, then it might be slightly more complicated.

How much time elapsed between the hard reboot and your most recent attempt to log onto the domain with your normal account?
