Subject: [PLUG] RedHat - chkconfig question
I have a RHEL server (v5), and it's been a really long time since I used
anything RH related. I have installed vsftpd as a FTP server; it's all
configured as I need it to be, and is running fine. In order to get this
service to autostart, I would need to do
chkconfig --levels 2345 vsftpd on
That would make vsftpd start for every run mode, I think.
Correct?
At the moment, I only see vsftpd in /etc/init.d, and not in any of the
/etc/rc.d/* directories. The chkconfig will add them there, I believe.

Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about
it if I did.
