----- Original Message ----- From: Joe Terranova > So ... has Clear actually released a modem yet that has a Linux > driver, or are we all just patting them on the back while running > Windows or leasing their WiFi router? ----- Original Message ----- http://developer.clear.com/projects/activity?show_news=1 I use 99% RSU's, so I can't help you there. The above mentioned site has some info. There are Intel Wimax Linux drivers out there. Don't want to defend Clear here, but shouldn't that question should go to the modem manufactures, like Motorola(not my favorite by any means). Perhaps Verizon and their equipment manufacturers will be more forth coming when LTE happens 11/15/2010 in some 30 markets around the U.S, including here in Philadelphia. -------------------------------------------------- Brian Vagnoni PGP Digital Fingerprint F076 6EEE 06E5 BEEF EBBD BD36 F29E 850D FC32 3955 -------------------------------------------------- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
