[PLUG] Monitoring a remote site

I have a remote site where I want to monitor at a minimum temperature. I
have an NSLU2 fully loaded with Lenny, Apache2, Perl, PHP, Python, Mysql,
etc. I also have OWFS installed and running with multiple temperature
sensors.

I want to locate this box at my vacation home for monitoring. At that
location I have DSL with dynamic IP assignment.

At the monitoring location I have DSL with static IP.

My question or rather request for ideas is how to get the data taken at
the remote site to the monitor site on a regular, say every 15 minutes or
more often if outside of limits. The most simple way is to just email the
data but I was looking for other ideas. Since the monitor ends IP is
always know the sensor end would intiate the transfer. I am sure there are
a ton of ways to do this. Just looking for ideas.

Doug
