Hi, my girlfriend and I recently got comcast digital cable with HD, and I noticed that our cable box, the RNG 110 has a firewire port.  I did some reading about mythtv and firewire and apparently some people have gotten this working through the firewire port.  Has anyone on this list done this successfully?  I know comcast wants to charge you for connecting the unit to each TV.  Does this mean that I'd be violating anything by hooking a linux box up to the unit through firewire?  Will this work?  Is it allowed?  Thanks.

Michael
