[PLUG] Kiosk recommendations |
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm looking to price out a couple of Linux-based "kiosks" today. These units will be fastened behind a desk and each will have monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The conditions are sheltered but unheated and not air conditioned so, presumably, the operating temps are from about 10 to 120 degrees F (ugh.) Naturally, I'd like these to be rugged and reliable so I don't have to be going back for replacement and/or repair for a long time. Anybody have any hardware vendor experience and/or recommendations? Thanks Eric - -- # Eric Lucas # # "Oh, I have slipped the surly bond of earth # And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings... # -- John Gillespie Magee Jr -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk0A7hIACgkQ2sGpvXQrZ/7+3wCgkuUZQsJmTM/2wnfDET98XCWw gb8AmQE/qBb5xjJ3NRH8sm8a+EfJKgrj =paYn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
