Well, it uses the "#" symbol for characters and I'm not so sure it's customizable...

Does anybody know of a program that outputs letters in ASCII art?

For example, if I input TEST I want something like this:

I know it's been done in the past - those old print job banner pages for
example.  I just cannot find a perl/python/ruby/whatever version and don't have
time to write one myself.  At least not THIS month!
