milling machines, lathes and even robots. Eric has previously
presenting this talk at PLUG North.

This presentation will discuss the use of Linux and EMC for
machining, and along the way touch on such topics as basic
machining concepts, "G-Code" the language of machining,
coordinate systems, hard real-time in Linux, interfacing to real
world hardware, Robots, Fabs (3D Printers) and a couple of other
open source projects related to EMC.

The presentation will include a demonstration of the software and
a show and tell of some of the hardware to which it can
interface.
