Re: [PLUG] why apple |
Not my experience. Daughter bought an iBook, defective out of the box. Apple wanted to repair or replace with reconditioned. Identical scenario with neighbors son and former co-worker. Dads screamed and defective equipment was replaced with new. Thirty-ish co-worker took the reconditioned replacement. I think she is the target demographic for Apple sales, so they probably get away with it most of the time. -- Art Alexion On Jan 26, 2011, at 8:14 PM, David Coulson <david@davidcoulson.net> wrote: > Apple stand behind their products - I had a battery fail on a MacBook pro from 2007 long out of warranty and they replaced it for free last week at the Apple store next to my office.
