The Philadelphia Area Linux Users Group (PLUG) cordially invites
you to a PLUG West meeting on Monday, May 16 at FIS in
Malvern, PA from 7-9 pm. See below for directions to the meeting
location.

This month, PLUG West welcomes Dimitry Golubov, who will be
speaking about using Squeak on Android.

Squeak is an open-source implementation of Smalltalk, an
object-oriented programming language with more than 30 years of
history. Squeak offers a rich set of GUI development tools, including
integrated IDE, debugger, and hierarchy of widget classes. Squeak
Virtual Machine has ports for major PC and Mac operating systems, and
also for handheld devices. This presentation introduces a Squeak VM
port for Android, an operating system for tablets and cellphones
developed at Google, and based on Linux.
