Does anyone have solved that problem already ?

+1 for ElasticSearch, though I have only dabbled in it thus far.

There is a similar solution, geared mostly towards logs, using ElasticSearch (and Lucene) called LogStash. Very amusing play on words on the logo.

If I ever get time to really dig in to these, I was thinking about doing a preso. But that's not until the end of the year soonest.

"Microsoft Tax" = the additional hardware & yearly fees for the add-on
software required to protect Windows from its own poorly designed and
implemented self, while the overhead incidentally flattens Moore's Law.
