Re: [PLUG] Digital forensics/Admin position

To clarify the situation, she is not a sysadmin, she's an office admin.
My apologies for not being more precise. I was looking more for that type of environment for her, while she continues on to her Bachelors.

I work on the security team at a web hosting company and domain registrar, and we will be looking for a new team member in the next few few months.  We are looking for somebody who has an associates in a computer related field who is comfortable with the command line.  We will train them in doing access log forensics, we just need somebody who at least knows what grep is and can navigate directories etc.  He can send me a resume off list and I'll pass it on.

Hey all,
I know this is a long shot at best, but I have a friend who's finishing up an Associates Degree in computer forensics. I understand that an AS doesn't get you that much in the job market today, but she has a lot of admin and customer service experience. I was wondering if anybody knew of a forensic company that could use an admin that was motivated to grow into something more than that role.
Thanks,
Steve
