You'll need to check your repos then... are you using universe? All the libimobiledevice (and lilbimobiledevice2) stuff is in universe.

I know the last two iterations of ubuntu could mount an iPod Touch inÂrhythmbox out of the box. ÂAmarok with some tweaking. ÂTrying to get it to work with my son's laptop, running Kubuntu 11.10 and just can't get ti to work. ÂInstalled rhythmbox and gtkpod, still nothing. ÂFollowed the documentation here,Âhttps://help.ubuntu.com/community/PortableDevices/iPhone ÂStill no good.

Nothing I could find specific to 11.10, so wondering if there is some regression.Â
