That is the correct article from "Linux Journal", September 2010. I was cleaning up last weekend and skimmed the table of contents with that article sticking in my mind during last night's discussion.

It's an interesting article about how to write a phone web app that
runs on both iOS and Android, and how to make it seem to the user
like a native app on both platforms.  Basically, it's using some
stuff from HTML5, plus things like PhoneGap to gain access to native
features and gain portability.

(Paul, I thought you said it was an article from the current issue.
This one is a year old.  Am I looking at the right article?  Or did
you find a more current one?)
