[PLUG] Various printers - free to a good home

Folks,

It's time for a little early spring cleaning. This is a re-post of an internal email, apologies if it's overly simplistic for the PLUG crowd.

I have a variety of printers I'd like to dispose of, and wanted to give you all first dibs on these items before they just get chucked into the garbage, or given to an electronics recycling company. Here's a list of what's available:

- relatively modern HP OfficeJet 6110 All In One. This was dropped during a recent office move. The sheet feeder was damaged for sure, and the USB port might also have been damaged, not sure. We've never tried to use it, it might work, it might be trashed. At the very least it's probably a decent flatbed scanner/copier and fax machine.

- brand new in box, but very old color inkjet printer - LexMark Z11. This printer is so old it doesn't even support USB, it's a PARALLEL printer. This is ideal for someone with an old computer that has a parallel port, or someone with a parallel to USB adapter.

- heavily used but still completely functional HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C, complete with all cables, manuals, and even a spare ink cartridge. Once again, this is a PARALLEL printer, not a USB one.

- Tektronix Phaser 740 Color Laserjet printer. This is a network-able printer. It's HUGE, you'd need two strong people to carry it. It was state of the art when we purchased it, it was the first printer our company owned, but it's big and slow and we have little to no need for color printouts these days. I believe the technology it uses is dye sublimation ...

Please email me directly if you have any interest in dropping by to look at these items.
